Parameter: Min AS Origination Interval
Path: Configuration Manager > Protocols > IP > BGP > Peers > BGP Peers
Default: 15 seconds
Options: A value greater than 0
Function: Determines the minimum amount of time that must elapse between successive
advertisements of update messages that report changes within the advertising
BGP speaker’s own autonomous system.
Instructions: Enter a value greater than 0 seconds.

Parameter: Local AS to Advertise to Peer

Default: 0
Options: 0 to 65535
Function: Specifies the AS number that is sent in an open message to this peer.
Instructions: Enter an AS number. To specify the AS number that you set with the BGP Local
AS parameter, use the default.

Parameter: Peer Max Update Size

Default: 800 bytes
Options: 64 to 4096
Function: Specifies the maximum size (in bytes) of update messages that are sent to this
peer.
Instructions: Accept the default or specify a size. If the size of the update message that
advertises a single route is greater than the configured message size, the actual
message size can exceed the configured value.
