Logging RSVP Messages
By default, the router does not log RSVP messages (informational, debug, and
trace). To enable the logging of informational, debug, and trace messages for
RSVP components, complete the following tasks:
Caution:
Enabling message logging increases the chance of losing
information because of lack of memory.
Site Manager Procedure
You do this System responds
1. In the Configuration Manager window,
choose
Protocols
.
The Protocols menu opens.
2. Choose
IP
. The IP menu opens.
3. Choose
RSVP
. The RSVP menu opens.
4. Choose
Global
. The RSVP Base Group Record window
opens.
5. Set the following parameters:
• Info Log Filter
• Debug Log Filter
• Trace Log Filter
Click on
Help
or see the parameter
descriptions beginning on page A-55.
6. Click on
Save
. You return to the Configuration Manager
window.
