PMGR Pool Manager is a process that runs on the Avaya MPS common
component providing a facility to configure Avaya MPS resources
into pools.

pooling A paradigm in which similar entities are referred by a common name,
and within a pool. An entity is inter-changeable by any other.

pooled host An external computer that the Avaya MPS is configured to use in a
dynamic allocation scheme.

pool.
pool timeout value The maximum amount of time an application waits for a VT to be
allocated after it requests one from the pool. If this timer expires,
COMMGR sends hostfail to the application.
Use the commgr pooltimeout command to specify this interval.
The default is five seconds. The MPS uses this value for all VTs in the
pool, regardless of the host number specified in command.
