VMDI

VEMUL A software service that attaches to VMST and then accepts messages
from the console, the command, line, or a file and redirects them to
the proper application or service.
When you run an application in simulated mode, PeriProducer
invokes VEMUL. VEMUL captures all the interactive replies to the
application in a history buffer using the VEMUL script language. Use
this script to test and debug applications.
VEMUL is for testing and debugging. Do not use call simulation on a
system handling live calls

VMDI Voice Memory Disk Interface. Hardware and software that improves
paging performance. VMDI off-loads certain speech management
functions and the associated processing from the system processor.
