PeriProducer provides a graphical environment in which applications
are built from individual processing steps called building blocks. The
building blocks are connected together with arrows to indicate the
order of block execution. The result looks very much like a flow
diagram or work flow, used in many industries to display ordered
processing steps. The PeriProducer building blocks provide all the
basic functions needed by an IVR application. There are also blocks
that implement general purpose programming functions, such as
decisions, loops, and computation.
For additional information, see the Avaya MPS PeriProducer User’s
Guide. For information about coding for specific features, see the
Features Application Programming Reference Manual.

PeriPulse The Avaya MPS shared resource that allows applications to recognize
digits dialed from a rotary (pulse) telephone.
Rotary dial pulses are carried through the network as a series of
clicks. PeriPulse detects the clicks and decodes them into the dialed
digit.
For additional information, see the Avaya MPS System Reference
Manual and the Avaya MPS Application Programming Reference
Manual.
