STATD VOS Statistics Daemon. A single-threaded process that resides in
the GEN subcomponent of the common component and provides
statistics consolidation and reporting services for the Avaya MPS
components on that node. This process occurs as a single instance per
node.

static Refers to a fixed-size MultiMedia file. When the file reaches the
specified limit, it stores no more elements.
When you create a static MMF with mkmf, specify the maximum
length of the file (in seconds or bytes) and the maximum number of
elements allowed in the MMF. Both the data file and the index file
will be static.

status/exception
conditions
Text strings passed, in most cases, from ASE and VOS processes to
executing applications to indicate particular events. You can use
PeriProducer Handle blocks to route the application based on the
status/exception condition.
Status/exception conditions include conn, vrto, and error.
You can access a detailed man page describing each condition from
any command line. To access a man page, use the syntax conman
<condition>, where <condition> is the particular status/
exception condition. Enter man conman for a detailed description
of using Avaya MPS condition man pages.
You can also access condition man pages directly through the on-line
documentation by clicking any condition highlighted in blue.
