Bad Forward Receive Buffer Checksum Errors
An event message beginning with buf= follows the message
bad forward receive buffer checksum. See the bold text at the beginning of
Figure 3-2
.

Look at the number to the left of GAME on the first line of the error display. This is
the number of the slot receiving the packet. In Figure 3-2
, slot 5 received the
packet.
The number 0x0f00bbbb indicates a backplane BofL packet, which is sent from
one slot to another to determine whether the destination slot is running. If multiple
BofL errors occur on the same sending or receiving slot, you may have a problem
with the associated FRE processor.
