The factory-default ﬁlenames are as follows:

ace.out The router software image for the FN, LN, CN, and ALN.

The system automatically refers to this binary ﬁle for booting

instructions unless you specify another router software image.

You cannot read or change this ﬁle. This ﬁle must have the

platform-speciﬁc ﬁlename of the .exe or .out boot ﬁle for the

system to boot successfully after a cold start. The

boot command

does, however, allow you to specify another software image.

The router software image for the AFN.

The router software image for the AN and ANH.

The router software image for the ASN.

The router software image for the BLN, BLN-2, and BCN.

PROM of an AN series router. You cannot read or change this

ﬁle.

of an ASN router. You cannot read or change this ﬁle.

cannot read or change this ﬁle.
