Configuring Message Logging
OSPF maintains a primary and backup log for OSPF messages.
By default, OSPF logs the following messages in the primary log:
• TRACE
• INFO
• DEBUG
• INTF STATE
• NBR STATE
• BAD LS
By default, OSPF logs no messages in the backup log.
You can use the BCC or Site Manager to specify the messages that OSPF writes to
the primary and backup log.
OSPF can log any or all of the following messages:
