Specify the polling interval.

Use the description that follows as a guide.

Parameter: Polling Interval

Default: 60 seconds

Range: 5 seconds minimum; no maximum value

Function: Sets the time interval at which the agent polls the variable to determine

whether that variable has reached the threshold.

Instructions: Specify the number of seconds for the polling interval. Remember that the

more often the agent polls the variable, the more memory it needs to

manage the thresholds for this statistic.
