Customizing PVC Service Records and PVCs

Modifying ATM Traffic Parameters
You can modify the following traffic parameters for PVCs:
• Peak cell rate (PCR)
• Sustainable cell rate (SCR)
• Maximum burst size (MBS)
Setting the PCR
The PCR specifies the upper traffic limit, in cells/s, that the ATM connection can
support.
By default, the PCR is set to 4716 cells/s. Table 5-1
lists the valid ranges for each
Bay Networks ATM router.
