
1. Log on to Element Manager.
2. In the navigation pane select Phones.
The Search for Phones pane opens.
3. Click Add.
The New Phones page opens.
• Enter Number of phones = 1
• Choose Customer = 0
• Choose Phone type = 2004P1 - IP Phone 2004P1 (example)
4. Click Preview.
The Phone Details page opens.
• Choose Customer Number = 0
• Enter Terminal Number = 252 00 01 01 (example)
• Enter Designation = SvcDN (example)
• Enter Zone = 5 (example)
Note: Do not use the VTRK Zone. Virtual Trunks must be configured with a different
zone number than the endpoints. This Zone = MO.
5. Choose Key 1 = Key Type HNDO - Handoff.
6. Click Validate. Check for Validation errors.
7. Click Finish.
Configuring a HOT P key
Use this procedure to configure the HOT P Key in Element Manager.
1. Log on to Element Manager.
2. In the navigation pane select Phones.
The Search for Phones pane opens.
3. Click Add.
The New Phones page opens.
• Enter Number of phones = 1
• Choose Customer = 0
