In Send Data, the application sends data to the host. The application can send
additional messages, as long as the messages do not change the message ID (see
Sending Messages on page 84.)
In Free Host Slot, the application releases the host connection slot (see Freeing the
Host Connection on page 95.)
Receiving Data From a Known ID
To cause a host driven application to wait for data with a particular message ID,
establish the message ID in the Resource block that contacts VTCPD (see ISSUE-
RECEIVE-SEND (IRS) on page 64.)
For example:
After specifying the message ID, the application should use a Resource block to
receive a message from the host.
