Site Manager WAN Line Services Parameters

E1 Line Parameters
You access the E1 Line Parameters from the Configuration Manager.
Parameter: V.54 Timer
Path: COM Connector > Edit DSU/CSU > Edit DSU CSU Parameters
Default: 0
Options: 0 to 255 seconds
Function: Sets the duration, in seconds, for the loopback testing specified in the V.54
Loopback parameter. Zero (0) indicates that loopback runs indefinitely.
Instructions: Enter the number of seconds for loopback testing to run.
If the only connection with the remote router is through the DSU/CSU interface,
be sure to set a nonzero value, since loopback testing leaves the router unable to
communicate with the remote router.

Function: Enables or disables the E1 line.
