Parameter: Max Retry Count
Path: Configuration Manager > Protocols > ATM > Service Records

Default: 1
Options: 1 to 2
Function: Defines the maximum number of times a LAN emulation client can retry an
LE_ARP_REQUEST (following the original request) for a given frame MAC
address.
Instructions: Accept the default, 1, or enter 2 as the new value.

Parameter: Aging Time
Path: Configuration Manager > Protocols > ATM > Service Records

Default: 300
Options: 10 through 300
Function: Defines the maximum amount of time (in seconds) that a LAN emulation client
can maintain an entry in its LAN emulation ARP cache without verifying the
relationship of that entry.
Instructions: Accept the default, 300, or enter a value from 10 through 300.

Parameter: Forward Delay Time

Default: 15
Options: 4 through 30
Function: While there are no changes occurring in network topology, this parameter
defines the maximum amount of time (in seconds) that a LAN emulation client
can maintain an entry in its LAN emulation ARP cache without verifying the
relationship of that entry.
Instructions: Accept the default, 15, or enter a value from 4 through 30.
