Configuring a Backup MOSPF Boundary Router
IGMP Relay supports two types of backup configuration:
• Configurations that contain a primary and a backup MOSPF boundary router
• Configurations that contain a primary and a backup IGMP-R
In Figure 9-6
, for example, an IGMP Relay device has interfaces to two MOSPF
boundary routers. A leased line connects the IGMP-R to the primary MOSPF
boundary router. A dial-up line connects the IGMP-R to the backup MOSPF
boundary router.
