Parameter: Announce RIP Metric

Path: Conﬁguration Manager > Protocols > IPv6 > RIPv6 > Policies > Announce

Default: Null

Options: 0 to 15

Function: Supplies a RIP metric.

Instructions: This parameter is valid only if the action is Announce. This is an optional

announce parameter metric to use when advertising a route that matches this

policy. If zero, the routing table metric calculated for RIP plus the interface cost

is used.
