Using Site Manager
To disable or reenable DNS client services from all circuits on the router,
complete the following tasks:
Deleting DNS from the Router
You can delete DNS client services from the router using either the BCC or Site
Manager.
Using the BCC
To use the BCC to delete DNS client services from the router, navigate to the dns
prompt and enter the following command:
delete
For example, the following command deletes DNS client services from the router:
dns# delete
box#
Site Manager Procedure

1. In the Configuration Manager window,
choose
Protocols
.
The Protocols menu opens.
2. Choose
Global Protocols
. The Global Protocols menu opens.
3. Choose
DNS
. The DNS menu opens.
4. Choose
Global
. The Edit DNS Global Parameters window
opens.
5. Set the
Enable
parameter. Click on
Help
or see the parameter description on
page A-28
.
Site Manager disables DNS on the router.
6. Click on
OK
. You return to the Configuration Manager
window.
