BGP AS Weight and Weight Class Parameters
Parameter: AS
Path: Configuration Manager > Protocols > IP > BGP > Weights
Default: Null
Options: 1 to 65535
Function: Identifies the autonomous system to which you want to assign a weight.
Instructions: Enter the appropriate AS number.
MIB Object ID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.18.3.5.3.2.5.1.3.1.4
Parameter: Weight Value 1
Path: Configuration Manager > Protocols > IP > BGP > Weights
Default: 8
Options: 1 to 15, plus the infinity value of 16
Function: Specifies the class 1 weight value to add to this AS. This weight value is added
to the other AS weight values in a route to determine the preference of the route
and aid in route selection.
Instructions: Either accept the current AS weight value or enter a new value. Any route that
traverses an AS with an AS weight of 16 (infinity) will not be used.
