Supplying Modification Values for a RIP Accept Policy
You can use the BCC or Site Manager to supply values that RIP uses to modify
fields in a RIP update that matches the policy.
Using the BCC
Navigate to the policy-specific prompt and enter:
modify
A set prompt appears for the policy.
For example, the following command invokes a modification prompt for RIP
accept policy pol_1:
accept/pol_1/rip# modify
modify/rip/accept/pol_1#
To specify a value , enter:
parameter value
parameter value is one of the parameter/value pairs shown in Table 6-2.
For example, the following command specifies an override mask of 255.0.0 for
accept policy pol_1:
modify/rip/accept/pol_1# mask 255.0.0.0
modify/rip/accept/pol_1#
