Configuring IP Multicasting Services

Parameter: Neighbor Priority Level
Path: Configuration Manager > Protocols > IP > ST2 > Neighbors
Default: 8
Options: 1 to 16
Function: Assigns a priority value to the neighbor.
Instructions: If you enter multiple ST2 route exploration neighbors in the forwarding table,
use this parameter to rank them. First choice is the neighbor with the lowest
value.
MIB Object ID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.18.3.5.16.1.2.3.1.2.7
Parameter: Next Hop IP Address
Path: Configuration Manager > Protocols > IP > ST2 > Neighbors
Default: None
Options: A valid IP address
Function: Specifies the IP address of the next-hop router or host.
Instructions: Set to the IP address of the neighbor (router or host).
