Modifying a Differentiated Services Interface

You can modify the configuration type of a differentiated services interface,

specify which debug messages for an interface are stored in the router’s events

log, and specify an idle timer for URL filters.

To modify a differentiated services interface, complete the following tasks:

Site Manager Procedure

1. In the Configuration Manager window,

Protocols

The Protocols menu opens.

2. Choose

DiffServ

. The DiffServ menu opens.

4. Choose

Interfaces

. The DiffServ Interface List window opens.

5. Select the interface you want to modify.

6. Set the following parameters:

• Config Type

• Debug Log Mask (hex)

• URL Idle Out Timer

Click on

Help

or see the parameter

descriptions beginning on page A-3.

7. Click on

Done

. You return to the Configuration Manager

window.
