This re-enables the AppleTalk interface and implements your changes to the
zone list.
12. Click on Done to exit the AT Interface Configuration window.
Parameter: Zone Name
Default: None
Options: Any valid zone name. A valid zone name contains from 1 to 32 characters
and can include any character except an asterisk (*). For more
information, refer to “Using Nonprintable Characters in
AppleTalk Zone
Names” in Chapter 3.
Function: Identifies the other zones (besides the Default Zone) specified for this
network.
Instructions: Enter a zone name.

Deleting Zones from the Zone List
To delete a zone from the AppleTalk router’s zone list, begin at the Configuration
Manager window shown in Figure
4-1; then proceed as follows:
1. Select Protocols > AppleTalk > Interfaces.
The AT Interface Configuration window appears (Figure
4-3).
2. Set the Enable parameter to Disable.
3. Click on Apply.
This disables the AppleTalk interface so that you can edit its zone list.
4. Click on Zone List.
The AT Zone Configuration window appears (Figure
4-4).
5. Click on the zone you want to delete.
6. Click on Delete.
The AT Zone Configuration window no longer lists the zone you deleted.
7. Click on Done to exit the AT Zone Configuration window.
