To set the Device Manager properties:

1 Choose Device > Properties.

The Properties dialog box opens (Figure 2).

2 Type information and select check boxes.

3 Click OK.

Table 1 describes the Properties dialog box items.

Polling Status Interval Interval at which status information is gathered (default is 300 seconds).

For a full stack, set this interval to 60 seconds.

Interval at which statistics and status information are gathered when traps

are enabled. The default is 300.
