Specifying the Client’s IP Address
To enable RADIUS, you must specify the client’s Internet Protocol (IP) address.
As the RADIUS client, the router passes this address to the server when a remote
user makes an authentication or accounting request. The server does not accept the
request without the client’s IP address.
To configure the client’s IP address:
1. Enter an IP address for the Client IP Address parameter.
2. Keep the RADIUS Client Configuration window open and go to the next
section, “Specifying t
he Primary Server’s IP Address.”
