Configuring IGMP on an Interface
The following sections show you how to configure interface-specific IGMP
features using Site Manager.
Enabling and Disabling IGMP
When you add IGMP to an IP interface, IGMP is automatically enabled. You can
use Site Manager to disable and re-enable IGMP on the interface.
Specifying a Query Rate
By default, IGMP sends out group membership queries on the interface every 120
seconds. You can use Site Manager to disable queries specify a query rate in the
range of 0 to 4096 seconds.
Specifying zero affects queries only. The router still forwards multicast datagrams
on this circuit.

Site Manager: Interface Query Rate parameter: page A-16
Note: If another IGMP router on this network has taken on the query role, this
router will not send out queries unless it has not heard of any queries within
the number of seconds specified by the Designated Router Time-out
