Adjacent Host Parameter Descriptions
Use the following descriptions to set parameters in the IP Adjacent Hosts window
and the IP Configuration window.
Parameter: Enable
Default: Enable
Options: Enable
| Disable
Function: Specifies the state (active or inactive) of the adjacent host in the IP routing
tables.
Instructions: Select Disable to make the adjacent host record inactive in the IP routing
table; the IP router will not consider this adjacent host.
Select Enable to make the adjacent host record active again in the IP
routing table.
MIB Object ID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.18.3.5.3.2.1.6.1.2
Parameter: IP Adjacent Host Address
Default: None
Options: Any valid IP address
Function: Specifies the IP address of the device that you want to configure as an
adjacent host.
Instructions: Enter the IP address in dotted decimal notation.
