Select what major components of the source system you wish to extract data from (the default is all). Click on
the Start button to be prompted for the system’s address and access information. Note that not all platforms
support individual selection options because there may be some inherent dependencies between the
components.

Enter the source system’s IP address along with the system’s administration user-id and password. Click OK.
DMM will now proceed with the extracting of data from the source system. The remainder of this extract
process is unattended. Note that at the beginning of this process the source system’s data will be backed up and
then at the end of the process it will be restored.
This process can take from 20 minutes to 45 minutes on average depending on the amount of data on the source
system. For systems with extremely large amounts of voice-message data it will take a longer time relative to the
volume of messages to be extracted.
