Using the Ping MIB

Parameter: IP Address
Default: None
Options: Any valid IP address
Function: Specifies the IP address of the device you want to ping.
Instructions: To change the IP address that appears in this field, type the new address in
place of the existing one.
MIB Object ID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.18.3.3.2.13.1.1.4
Parameter: Ping Site Name
Default: None
Options: Any name you want to correspond to the device from which you are
pinging
Function: Serves as descriptive information for your use.
Instructions: Optionally, enter a name for your ping site.
MIB Object ID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.18.3.3.2.13.1.1.17
Parameter: Packet Size
Default: 16
Range: 1 to 4850
Function: Specifies the size of the Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP)
packet in bytes.
Instructions: Enter the number of bytes of data that you want to send with each ping.
