BOOTP Client Interface Parameters
Parameter: IP Address
Default: None
Options: Any valid IP address
Function: Specifies the IP address of the booting router that is using EZ-Install. This
parameter applies only to a Frame Relay group access PVC connection.
Instructions: Enter the IP address (in dotted decimal notation) of the booting router’s
interface.

Parameter: DLCI Number
Default: None
Range: 16 to 1007
Function: Specifies the identification number of the upstream router’s PVC to the
booting router. The Frame Relay network uses the DLCI number to direct
data flow from the booting router to the upstream router.
Instructions: Enter the number in decimal format. Use the DLCI number assigned by
your Frame Relay service provider.

What to Do Next

configure a UNIX workstation for network booting before you can use the
network to boot an ASN.
