Appendix A – Setting the NPK on the BayRS router

Firstly, if it hasn’t been done already, a password for the Secure Shell must be created. If you

don’t have one configured and you try to enter the Secure Shell, you will receive an error

message as such:

$ ksession

Must set secure shell password

To change the Secure Shell password use the kpassword command and follow the instructions,

as such:

$ kpassword

Changing password for Secure Shell

Old password:

New Password: ********

Retype new password: ********

Secure Shell password changed.

Once the password is established, enter the Secure Shell using the ksession command.

$ ksession

Please enter password:

Entering Secure Shell Session.
