Managing Routers Using the HTTP Server

Using Site Manager

To configure or change the HTTP Server parameters, first create HTTP on the

router, then complete the following tasks:

Go to “Starting and Configuring the HTTP Server

.”

Site Manager Procedure

1. In the Configuration Manager window,

choose

Protocols > Global Protocols >

HTTP > Global

The Edit HTTP Global Parameters

window opens.

2. Set the

Enable/Disable

parameter to

Enabled

to enable the HTTP Server or to

Disabled

to disable the HTTP Server.

3. Specify the

Port

number on which you

enabled the HTTP Server.

4. Set the

Authentication

parameter to

Basic

Digest

5. Specify the

Domain Name

to use for the

router. To use the IP address instead of a

domain name, leave this parameter value

blank.

6. Click on

. You return to the Configuration Manager

window.
