72 Avaya Network Management Console User Guide

Creating a Network Map

To create a new Network Map:

1. Select

File > New > Map. The Create New Map dialog box opens.

2. Enter a name for the file in the New map name field.

3. Click

OK. A new Network Map is created.

4. Add subnets and devices to the Network Map using one of the

following methods:

— Discovery - For more information, refer to “Discovering

Subnets and Nodes” on page 92.

— Manual Entry - For more information, refer to “Manually

Adding Devices” on page 59.

— Importing - For more information, refer to “Importing

Devices into the Network Map” on page 74.
