Parameter: Remote TCP Port

Path: Configuration Manager > Circuits > Edit Circuits > Edit > MPLS > LDP

Default: 8192

Options: 1 to 65535

pecifies the remote TCP port number of the label-switching router (LSR) that

the label edge router (LER) uses to establish the TCP connection.

Instructions:

Accept the default, 8192, or enter a TCP port number from 1 to 65,535.

Path: Configuration Manager > Circuits > Edit Circuits > Edit > MPLS > LDP

Default: AUTO

Function: S

pecifies what kind of route table LDP uses. When you accept the default, Auto,

MPLS uses either the OSPF or RIP route table. When you specify Manual, LDP

uses static routes.

Instructions: Accept the default, AUTO, if you want MPLS to configure routes using OSPF

or RIP. Specify MANUAL if you want MPLS to use static routes.

Note:

The routes configuration mode takes precedence over the protocol that

you set (see “

Protocol” on page A-5). This means that when you set the routes

configuration mode to Manual, LDP disregards the protocol setting.
