Avaya recommends the use of the Over the air download technique.

You use E-mail to announce the availability of new software and give the download instructions

in the E-mail messages. The E-mail message to your users should contain the following

information:

• How to obtain and install the client software.

• How to start the application and enter basic configuration, including the Avaya 3100

Mobile Communicator Gateway connection details, Username, Password, and mobile

phone number.

• How to install a root certificate (if required).

• How to log in to the Avaya 3100 Mobile Communicator.
